Cuba, with a tradition of social justice going back to de Cespedes in 1868, is an island of fascinating culture, history and society. Fidel said in 1953 ‘History will absolve me’ and in 1959 brought to an end four and a half decades of colonial rule. His vision remains relevant today! Seagate member Ian will give an illustrated talk on his visit there this spring.
