Speaker Barrie Birch - The English Town of Ludlow

Wed, Nov 28th 2018 at 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Barrie Birch will play one of his DVDs by Alec Clifton Taylor. ------------ Speaker Finder Barry Smith, Visitors Host, Grace and Banners John Watson, Cash Desk Graham Robinson

Barry has not been able to get a response from the speaker he had hoped to get for this date.

Thankfully Barrie has come to his aid and will present one of his DVD's similar to the two he presented earlier in the year. This time it will be on Ludlow, which a number of the members visited when we were at Church Stretton on a Holiday Fellowship weekend.

Originally broadcast on BBC2 during August and September 1978, Six English Towns saw Alec Clifton-Taylor cast his experienced eye over the following towns – Chichester, Richmond, Tewkesbury, Stamford, Totnes and Ludlow.
