Rotary and Friends Walk around Hambleden

ROTARY AND FRIENDS WALK SUNDAY 24th JUNE, 2018

9 walkers (14 on Thursday!) did a lovely walk in warm sunshine yesterday. We watched part of the Henley Ladies Regatta, paused at ‘The Flowerpot’ at Aston, and had another excellent bring/share lunch (thanks to Sharon and Keith for the single savoury, then entirely desserts!!!).

The arrangements for this walk are:-

 Meet at 10.00 am prompt at Hambleden village hall, (RG9 6RP). he public car park is by the ‘Stag & Huntsman’

. Circular walk of about 5 miles along the Thames and around to Aston.

 ‘Bring and share’ lunch at about 1.30 pm. Each couple to please provide a savoury or sweet dish of your choice sufficientfor 6 people. Also drink to share.

 Please also bring your own glasses, crockery and cutlery.

The New Garden was officially open on Tuesday 19th October by Rotary President Christopher Tyrer with an informal ceremony involving school staff and pupils
