Community Event : CAR FEST 2018

The annual CAR FEST SOUTH will take place as usual over the Bank Holiday weekend at the local Laverstoke Park Farm in Overton.
The event, promoted by BBC’s Chris Evans, is a massive fundraiser for BBC’s Children in Need. Rotary is an acknowledged “partner” to the event, and volunteers from our Club will once again be helping the on-site raffle ticket sales which last year brought in £000’s to the national charity.

Every year we run an exchange with a Rotary Club in our Twin Town of Braine L'Alleud where we stay in each other's houses, visit places of interest and generally have a wonderful time.

Every year we look for young people ideally aged 16-17 to send on this amazing leadership course run by Rotary which is not only fun but teaches many skills. Its normally in the summer but its never too early to express an interest.
