Tonight was our School Music Evening at the Rotary Club of Motherwell and Wishaw.
The members were entertained by pupils from St Aidan’s High School under the guidance of their principal teacher of music, Mrs Celia McEachen. There were a number of vocal soloists and instrumentalists playing the saxophone and the ukulele whilst the senior vocal ensemble, assisted by some members of staff, performed a selection of well-known songs, with the members being encouraged to sing along.
Another evening of excellent entertainment from very talented young people.
Past President Jim Peat proposed a comprehensive vote of thanks.
Ronnie Moore was the winner of the weekly bonus ball and Peter McCrossan, Ian Carroll and Charles Keeper were the winners of the monthly numbers club draw.'What We Do' Main Pages:
