The Rotary Club of Midsomer Norton and Radstock presented a donation to Freewheelers’ Emergency Voluntary Service (Blood Bikes) at a dinner event held at Ston Easton Park recently. The Registered Charity provides out-of-hours motorcycle courier services to hospitals in the South West of England, including Paulton Hospital, carrying blood and other essential supplies. The group depends totally upon donations to cover their operating costs. Rotary President, Ian Huxham, presented a cheque for £1,000 to the group. |
