This page highlights interesting stuff from the 2017-2018 Rotary Year

Here we highlight 2017-2018

Celebrating our new members

We're coming to the end of our Rotary year, which ends on June 30th, and we're celebrating the addition of four new members to our club in this year.

Johnny Juj (top left) joined us in September following the closure of his previous club and Dave King (top right) transferred to us from the e-Club West of England following a job move.

Meanwhile, Janet Tyas (bottom left) and husband Justin Tyas (bottom right) approached us through this site looking to give something back to the community in which they live. They were all welcomed to Rotary Elthorne-Hillingdon by club president, Brenda Udall.

We are delighted to welcome our new quartet, and you could join us and them - just get in touch!

Santa Collections Raised more than £5,600 - Thank You!

Our collections around the streets of Ickenham and North Hillingdon and at Waitrose Ruislip, combined with our stall at the Ickenham Festival Evening raised more than £5,600 for the Guide Dogs fpr the Blind Association and other charities supported by our club.  A big thank you to all who turned out to see Santa and also to all those who helped us with the collection rounds.

If you liked seeing Santa and fancy helping us collect next year, contact us through the link above.

Edinburgh comes to Hillingdon

In what is becoming something of an annual tradition, our members and partners are in for another real treat in July - a preview of a show being taken to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe!

Our member Joan Greening is a well-established author & she has arranged for her show "The Amours of Lillie Langtry" to be performed just for us at the Ruislip Conservative Club. Actresses Sarah Archer and Emma Hopkins comprise the cast!

McMillan Coffee Morning

We're proud to announce that a coffee morning as part of McMillan great coffee morning, organised in October by Brenda Udall, one of our members, raised £315.  Well done Brenda - such a worthy cause!!

Charity Golf Day

Tuesday 25th July 2017 saw us run our 21st Annual Golf Day, at Batchworth Park Golf Club.  29 teams of 3 took on the challenge in mostly great weather for golf, with the winners being Tube & Bracket "C".

Of course the big winner was Alzheimers Society to whom we donated the proceeds of the day, raising £7,000.

We'll be running this year's Golf Day on Tuesday 24th July 2018.  Use the contact form above if you'd like to enter a team.
