President Mike Jane welcomed twelve other members. Jack Rudram announced tjhat he had sold his house in Shandon, and he and Carol would be moving out of the area next month while they look for a new home, though he will remain a member. Other members have agreed take over his Youth Services responsibilities in the meantime.
Bill Deans gave the provisional date of Fridsy November 16 for the annual Wine Tasting, venue to be decided, in aid of the local branch of ENABLE. Alastair Wilson reported that the rotary crocus quorms should be available for planting after the District 1230 Conference, and a joint planting day would be arranged with the Garelochside club.
Reay Mackay gave a short and interesting talk on his work helping at the recent World Blind Match Racing Championship on the Gareloch, won by the Great Britain 2 team.
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by Alastair Wilson.
