Grand Rotary Wassail Night

The Wassail Night has been arranged to take place at Jim Lockyer's Bere Cider Company, (Farm) Woodpecker Lodge, Bere, Aller, Langport, TA10 0QX on Saturday 19 January 2019, starting time circa 7:00 pm.

BBQ food, Cider, and soft drinks will be available for purchase as required.  Plenty of undercover places including a newly furbished function room are available in case of bad weather.  Entrance is free.  I'm arranging this event for our Clubs' members, family and friends group as a group clubs fellowship evening with no fund raising in mind.  The Lockyers traditionally make a donation to a local charity so we will be contributing in that way.  Rotarian Gerard Tucker, a member of Langport and Somerton RC, will  be acting as Wassail Leader and it will also include him and his team of Morris Dancers entertaining us.  A really good opportunity to participate in a traditional bit of old Somerset.

Car parking might be a problem so please bring as many as you can per car.
