Jon and Sandy will be talking to us on Thursday 21st March 2019

One of the churches they visited.

Jon Herd and Sandy Brown from St. Kentigern's church will be talking about their experiences on trips to Romania. They visited as part of their formal church twinning arrangement to see how the funds they were raising would be spent, and to learn about the country and its history.

St. Kentigern's church in Kilmarnock have raised hundreds of pounds for their twin congregations of Hirip and Amati in North East Romania, liaising with the local pastor. The money has been used to purchase medication and other items for the impoverished and ageing populations of the two parishes. They have also collected and distributed shoeboxes of items to help the elderly.
