Steak and Bowls at the Grove in Leominster

Tonight we enjoyed another sociable steak, peas and chips followed by a game of tenpin bowls.

This was another enjoyable evening at the Grove and we were pleased to have the "party" joined by some very welcome guests. They included a much-missed former member Martin, Rotary Friends Steve & Vi and Sue & David, friends of Chris and Jack ( John and Barbara), and "nearly Rotarian" Heather. The meal was tasty, as usual, and the bowling competition was fierce. There were the usual range of gutters and strikes, groans and cheers but the competition went to the wire - Paul was on 112 and Martin had the opportunity to sneak past on his last ball but the pressure was too much and the outcome was a draw. Well done guys, and thanks to everyone for another happy and enjoyable evening. Looking forward to the next one!
