86th CHARTER NIGHT INVITATION

 

On behalf of the President of the Rotary Club of Bangor, Alun Hawkins, I am pleased to invite you, your members and partners to join us to celebrate our 86th Charter Night: 

Date:      Saturday 13 October 2018 

Time:      7.00pm for 7.30pm

Venue:   Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey, 

 

Dress:    Black tie

 

Menu:     Starter

       a)    Garlic Mushrooms topped with crispy croutons

       b)    Pressed ham hock, parsley and mustard terrine with a port and Cumberland sauce

       c)    A medley of sweet melon with a duo of fresh fruit coulis and sugar-scented fresh 

              fruit garnish 

 

           Main

       d)    Braised lamb shank served in a red wine, rosemary and red current jus

       e)    Poached salmon steak topped with glazed tarragon hollandaise and lemon wedge

       f)     Roasted vegetable nut loaf set on a sweet cranberry glaze

       g)    Spinach and ricotta cannelloni topped with a duo of cheddar cheeses

 

                Desserts

       h)    Amoretti and white chocolate charlotte

       i)     Fresh fruit salad

       j)     Sticky toffee pudding with custard

 

       Followed by tea and coffee.

 

Cost:      £30 per person

 

There is no main speaker but there will be musical entertainment following the meal

 

Please send me the names of your members and their spouses/partners who intend to be present, by Monday 1 October 2018, together with their menu choices (three letters per person and any special dietary requirements).
