Speaker - Rob Williams - Padstones

Thu, Sep 27th 2018 at 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Rob Williams, Team Leader at Connection Support gave an update on Padstones. The Burnham facility offers young people a safe place to stay in small residential project with a member of staff on duty night and day.

RCBB listened to a very informative and thought provoking talk regarding the Burnham Padstones facility for homeless and troubled young people.  Rob Williams - Senior Development Manager of Connection Support - appealed for more support and interaction from the Burnham community to help integrate these youngsters into everyday local life.  Funding is also a continual problem, and one where RCBB can hopefully also give some support.

Since the meeting RCBB members have made many personal donations of furniture and personal items and the Club has made a financial donation.
