Friday September 21st will be the annual United Nations International day of Peace and non-conflict. This year an exhibition of photos from the war and stories of remarkable women from that period will be launched at Walkern Gallery to mark the centenary of the end of WW1. There will also be poetry reading and tying white ribbons to a Peace pole. The exhibition will be launched on 21st and 22nd September and then will re open from Friday 12th October until Sunday 11th November
