John Caulfield keeps a clear head

John Caulfield

John Caulfield talked to us about Headway and their work with brain injury. He has a personal interest as his son suffered brain injury after a traffic accident.

Headway strive to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provide information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers. Understanding is important since behaviour due to brain injury can be misinterpreted as bad or disruptive behaviour.

They also run specific residential weekends which provides a great opportunity for sharing and learning with others who are in a similar position.
