The annual carol concert held at at All Saints Church, Westbury, featuring choirs from the local junior schools.

The Rotary Club of Westbury held their annual Christmas Concert at All Saints Church on Monday, 3rd December with three local schools performing.

The church was at full capacity to hear choirs from Dilton Marsh, Primary School, Matravers School and Bitham Brook Primary school perfom Christmas hits, popular songs and pantomime songs. The congregation was also encouraged to join in with well known carols.

The children were visited by a special guest, Father Christmas, who gave each child a bag of sweets. Refreshments of mince pies, suasage rolls, tea and coffe were provided by the Inner Wheel of Westbury, and a retiring collection for the chosen charities of the Rotary Club was taken during the final carol.

President Mervyn said "It was thrilling to have a packed church and to hear and enjoy the singing of the three choirs from our local schools.Under their respective musical directors, each choir sang sutably festive music with energy, skill and commitment. Lots of parents, grandparents and friends were there to give them support and the display of illuminated christmas trees gave the church a very attreactive, festive appearance. It is a great privilege for the Westbury Rotary Club to put on this event, with help from the Inner WheelClub of Westbury and members of the PCC. The evening has become a regular event in the Westbury Christmas Diary."
