Breakfast with Rotary scholar speakers

Rotary Scholars visiting the club are Samuel Rob from the USA and Georgia Richards from Australia. Theywill speak about their Rotary sponsored studies in Oxford.

For this academic year, Rotary Foundation has awarded 23 scholarships for graduate students studying in the Thames Valley. All their subjects are covered by the six Rotary Areas of Focus. Twenty two of the graduates are studying in Oxford and one at the LSE.  A quick analysis shows: 

  • 12 PhDs, 11 Masters , 10 countries, 5 continents, 18 clubs hosting the graduates, 22 different languages spokes (an estimate)

The two speakers visiting our club on Wednesday 6th February are:


Samuel Rob from the USA and Georgia Richards from Australia.

Both are studying at the University of Oxford - Kellogg College
