International food and music event at St John's

We held a joint event with St John's church Heaton Mersey on October13th . Excellent Performances of music and dance from many cultures together with delicious food.

Guests included the Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport.
We were entertained by the spectacular Ghanaian Cultural Performing Arts Group "Adehyeammatpe Troupe"
The St Johns Church Choir (complete with last post bugle)
Bengali Cultural Group , based in Heaton Mersey
Our very own Rotarian Bob Jordan plus Irish vocal input from Siobhan.
The Kalinka Balalaika Orchestra (who have a concert at Royal Northern School of music on 7th December in aid of children without parents in St Petersburg)
Free of charge delicious Bengali and Ghanainan food was provided inside the church and by the Rockin Buddha mobile unit just outside , many thanks to the caterers for their generosity . We all went home well fed and entertained!
