Mark Francois, MP, visits his fellow Rotarians at the Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill
At a recent Monday night meeting of the Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill local MP, Mark Francois, paid a visit to the club where he is an honorary member.
Mark took the opportunity to give an enlightening and entertaining talk about his motivation in becoming an MP and some of his experiences as a politician as well as providing some snippets of interesting information including the fact that the current Chancellor, Phillip Hammond, in his early years, attended Love Lane School, Rayleigh.
When asked about his most rewarding experience as an MP, Mark stated that, as Armed Forces Minister, his most satisfying achievement was to get the government to agree to his recommendation to supply disabled war veterans with the superior Genium prosthetic limbs instead of the C-Leg type.
All members of the club agreed that it was a most enjoyable evening and encouraged Mark to attend the club whenever he had the opportunity.
