Santa Fun Run

The Great Lutterworth Santa Fun Run took place on Sunday Dec. 2nd, 2018.

There were 550 Santas who took part in the 2018 Santa Fun Run on December 2nd, running, walking or ambling round one of the two courses in aid of their chosen charity.  There were concerns beforehand that competition from other fun runs being held on the same day would impact on numbers taking part but organisers were pleased with the turnout that included many families, some covering three generations.  The shorter course was 4km with the longer course 5.5km, and once again, the event was blessed with good weather.  There was a real carnival atmosphere with coffee and mince pies being handed round at the finish by the Pathway Community Church - all to the sound of Christmas carols from the Lutterworth Town Band.  Both Rotary Clubs would like to thank all those who took part and made the day a very special occasion;  our sponsors who support us every year, the marshals who ensure the participants complete the course in safety, the organising committee who devote so much time and effort to ensure the day is a success, and the Lutterworth College for hosting the event.  Chairman of the organising committee,

This year's charities to be supported are:
