The following Organisations in S18 have benefitted from grants from the Rotary Community Lottery Fund since it was started just over 2 years ago. 

  1. Heidi’s Heart – purchase of a defibrillator, which was placed in St Andrews School, Pentland Road.  
  2. Penny Acres School, Holmesfield, grant to purchase new costumes to enable them to take their Christmas Concert on the road to Leonard Cheshire Homes, Mickley Lane, Totley and to Meadow Grange Care Home at Dronfield Woodhouse.
  3. Coal Aston Adult Learning Centre, grant to purchase 3 computer tablets and a photo quality colour printer to enable students to learn how to access the internet safely and to illustrate their trips out.  
  4. Dronfield in Bloom, grant for the purchase of plants for their work in the town schools.  
  5. Friends of Dronfield Station (FODS), grant to sponsor a platform planter for a 5 year period. 
  6. Dronfield School of Boxing ABC, grant for the purchase of equipment to enable the Club to survive and start afresh in new premises.  
  7. Holmesdale Infants School, grant to build an outdoor Forest Classroom.
