Rotary Foundation Appreciation Awards 2018

President Saroj Chhabra and Immediate Past President Rocco Franco represented our club at the 2018 Appreciation Awards.


Our Club has received three awards at the  Rotary Foundation ceremony on 21 November 2018 recognising the generous financial support we have provided to the Foundation:

- Certificate of Excellence in recognition for our club's support of the Rotary Foundation during the RY 2017-18

- Special Banner | No.1 Club in District 1130 in per capita Annual Fund giving to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International during the RY 2017-18

- Certificate of Appreciation for our club's financial support of End Polio Now: Countdown to History Campaign fullfilling Rotary's promise to the children of the world and eradicate polio during the RY 2017-18

Our Global Grant Scholar 2018-2019

more Like in the previous years, we are delighted to host a Rotary Foundation Global Grant scholar. Manuel Rigon has been introduced by PP Rocco Franco, who is his counsellor. Manuel joins from the Rotary Club Verona Soave in Italy, District 2060.

more At our 6 February 2018 meeting we had the pleasure to welcome our guest of honour, Rotary Global Grant Scholar Katelyn Shepardson. Katelyn is studying Migration, Mobility and Development at London Uni SOAS. Her home club is La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA.
