David Simpson

On 13th November District Governor David Simpson paid his annual visit and he praised the Club for its progress in gaining members during the past two years.  He was also pleased to find that there was a good mix of male and female members.  He emphasised the Rotary motto of "Service above Self" as well as the importance of supporting Rotary's own charity The Rotary Foundation which is one of the largest charitable organisations in the world through which Clubs assist poverty, famine, education and water supplies in the third world, as well as driving the eradication of polio during the last 30 years or so.
