Our man in Banbury Rotary Club, Alan Wolstencroft has received this letter from Solomon Kamara, Head Teacher at the Liverpool Community School in Sierra Leone . It reads: “Dear Mr Alan, The staff and pupils are very excited to see the long awaited light. This has fulfilled our dreams and aspirations of the modern times. We are happy to show you all that the electricity has finally been achieved after the first prepaid metre was installed today. This is a golden opportunity for both the school and the community. May God continue to bless you and all your supporters. Best regards, Solomon Kamara., Headteacher” Alan in his email to us went on to say, “This has only been possible with your tremendous support and belief in what I do and words cannot express my gratitude to you all. I am not ashamed to say I am in tears as I type this!!” The expression on the children’s faces says it all. Merry Christmas and thanks for helping to make a difference, ~ 100 Club Executive Committee For more information go to: www.alansafrica.co.uk for AlansAfrica and www.gaga-uk.org for Goodwill & Growth for Africa We have Power!: We have Light! and for Rotary News go to www.woodstockandkidlingtonrotary.org.uk
