Steph Richardson and Friends

"Steph Richardson and Friends", a recent concert arranged by our Club proved to be a great hit. The event which took place at the Croft Hall Hungerford drew a full house and raised £850 for the local nursery school . Steph, a local girl, and her friends in the band played a variety of numbers which included jazz, standards, and pop. At one stage she introduced her father who played saxophone on a few numbers. Our own David Small entertained the audience during the break with his excellent piano playing. An tasty finger buffet was set out by club members and their wives and Rotarian Tony Cornick ran a very successful bar.  Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the School benefitted with a substantial donation towards a newly planned sensory garden for the children.
