Beth Webb is an experienced children's author and storyteller and she is coming to engage with young children, aged about 3 to about 8, in the upstairs room of Pickwicks Country Kitchen, down near the bottom of Broad Street, the extension of the High Street, Wells. She has the appropriate DBS clearance, will be accompanied by Rotarians and there will be plenty of opportunity for parents or carers to listen or just sit downstairs, enjoying refreshments. What is there not to like?
Each child will be provided with his or her own carpet upon which dreams and stories can take flight while dragons will be in attendance. It is hoped that such flights might become an event repeated in future.
