Trinity Centre Singalong.

The Rotary Club of Whitby and District continued it's good work for the community by showing it's support for the Trinity Centre on Flowergate, Whitby.

Rotary President, Mike Bunn, presented the centre with a cheque for £200 so that it could buy more equipment for use in it's activities.

Trinity Centre is in it's 28th year and the centre manager explained what it's all about.

"We provide a good quality of care for older people from Whitby and the surrounding villages. We offer a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, guest speakers, computer access, games and music and a chance to meet new friends and chat."

The Rotarians were able to offer some entertainment in the form of a singalong led by local music master, Steve Maltby.

Several Rotary Club members attended and were in good voice accompanying the Trinity Center members.

Plans are already afoot to repeat it in the near future.

Celia added:- "We are most grateful to the Rotary Club of Whitby for their support. Everyone has really enjoyed the singalong and we hope to do it again sometime soon."
