Rotary Young Chef District Final

Nine young chefs battled it out to find out which two will go on to the Regional Final

An amazing display of culinary excellence by 9 young folks from around District 1100.  DG Joan was there to present the District awards - to Rufus Wells and Will Tidey - seen in the main picture.

But just look at the plates of food that were was absolutely stunning and the judges were really hard pressed to agree on their verdict.

Huge thanks to G4S for allowing us to use the RWB Academy facilities, to the Chefs who gave up therir day to come and judge; to the Mums and Dads who provided the essential support; to the Rotarians from RWBTRC who managed the event (and sampled the menus after the judges had done their marking) and to Ceri Pridding, the District Chair for 'Rotary Young Chef' whose enthusiasm and commitment ensured that it all happened.
