18 April 2019

Prior to the planned talk a £250 cheque presentation was made to Lucy Patchett, a student from Bottesford who will be going on a voluntary Marine and wildlife project in Sri Lanka in July, working on a turtle hatchery and river/beach clean-up.  Our speaker for our scheduled talk on Nottingham Blood Bikes gave a very late apology…”unforeseen circumstances beyond my control”, so as reliable as ever, Roy produced another Dingbats quiz out of the laptop.  Made an interesting exercise though as all the answers were at the end and Roy couldn’t remember most of them, but good fun was had by all!                                 AR
