Rotary Club of Stourbridge has a policy of giving appropriate aid to

international projects where an emergency or disaster has occurred. Last

year there was an area in Kerala , India that was affected by severe flooding

with loss of life and destruction of homes.

The Rotary club responded and joined with the Kerala Partnership,

( keralapartnership.com ) based in Dudley but whose charitable work is in

Kerala to help refurbish homes for people particularly below the poverty line.

The people of Stourbridge were very generous after a public collection to aid

some of the funding required. £1000 was donated to the Kerala Partnership by

the Rotary Club for them to complete the work before further monsoon rain

came.

The Rotary Club of Stourbridge would like to thank all those who contributed

to this worthwhile project along with the Kerala Partnership to aid our fellow

human beings.
