REMAP

Providing specialist equipment for the disabled

Our speakers on the 3rd July 2019 were Les Brown and Malcolm Napier, both from the South Bucks group of Remap: a National Charity which has as its motto “making things happen”.  Remap operates through over 70 such local groups and  provides custom-made equipment for disabled people.

The South Bucks group is based in Amersham Hospital, although the work done by the engineers and other volunteers is conducted at their “home workshops”.

An excellent presentation included videos and visual aids to give examples of the speciific solutions which help individual disabled people live independently.
