Donation given to the Axminster Football Club
A donation of £200 has been given to the Axminster Football Club to help towards the high cost of suitable goalposts needed for its large under-13 Section.details
Rotary Club donates towards the 2019 ‘Axminster Christmas together ‘event.
The ‘Axminster Christmas Together’ event does much to help those members of the community who would be alone on Christmas Day. The club saw its importance to many in the community and decided to offer £200 towards the coming 2019 lunch.details

Following its achievement in the 2018-19 season of winning the Cornwall and Devon Rotary Challenge Cup, the team pulled off another cup surprise by reaching the semi-final of the Axminster League knockout cup.details

Axminster Carnival 2019
The Rotary Club was, once again able to provide some volunteers for the 2019 Axminster Carnival and they became a part of the team of stewards and other workers.details
800 km charities walk by a Rotarian and an ex-Rotarian.
Bernie and Ian Styles (Member and past member of Axminster Rotary Club) made a decision to make a walk of 800 km through the North West of Spain and use the walk as an opportunity to raise money for charity.details
Rotary Club listens to another good speaker
It has become a custom of the Rotary Club of Axminster to have a speaker at its Thursday evening meetings. Recent speakers have been very good and the October speaker was no exception. He was David Murling who gave a talk about Medieval Exeterdetails

Club gives Illustrated dictionaries to Year 6 students
The Rotary Club presented illustrated dictionaries to all the Year Six Students of Axminster. Rotarian Robyn Jennings is seen in the picture with the children of Axminster Community Primary Academy after she had presented them with dictionaries.details
Installation of the new President - August 2019
On 8th August the 2018-19 President, Don Waterhouse completed his year in office and returned the presidency to Peter Creek, from whom he had received the honour in 2018details

The Skittles team wins the District 1175 Cup
The Rotary Club of Axminster defeated The Rotary Clubs of South Moulton and Padstow to win the Devon and Cornwall Rotary (District 1175) Knock-Out Cup.details
Rotary Club’s Floral Trophy
For many years the club has awarded atrophy for the what, in the view of the judge, is the best hanging basket display on a business premises.details
The Sand Dams project.
In the 2019-20 Rotary year the club has decided to support the construction of sand-dams to help supply water close to populated areas where water is a scarce commoditydetails
Each year the club holds an internal skittles competition and meal at the Tuckers Arms in Dalwood. The competitions are open to members, prospective members, close friends and wives/partners.details

More than 50 people were given a free blood pressure check at a screening day in Axminster on Thursday, 11th April 2018.details
Guildhall Charity lunch
In March of 2019 a successful Charity Cheese and Apple Pie lunch in the Guildhall was held in the Guildhall. It was organised by members of the former Inner-Wheel Club of Axminster and supported by the Axminster Rotary Club.details
Golf Day - May 2019
The Rotary Clubs of Axminster and Lyme Regis jointly manage a Charity Golf Day in May at the Lyme Regis Golf Club.details
Help for the main Axminster charities
The Rotary Club was able to provide the two main charities of Axminster with significant donations. The money had been raised by the club in some of its recent activities.details
Annual awards for those who do much to help others
For many years the club has presented two annual trophies to people in the community who have worked behind the scenes to help others.details
Axminster Carnival – Saturday, 14th September 2018.
Once again Rotarians busy working as Stewards for the evening, as they have done for many years by helping at this, one of the town’s main annual events that is so much fun and raises a great deal of money for local charities.details

The Ax-pedition was a cycling event headed by Axminster Rotary Club in partnership with Axminster Tools and Machinery, Ax-Pedition in 2015, 2016 and 2017details
Festive Friday was a Rotary Club project for several years. It was a town centre Christmas event for everyone, but especially for the children. When it was first held there was very little festive activity.details
