I am writing from the Ravensbourne Rotary club to let you know about  the opening of our  ANNUAL SMALL COMMUNITY GRANTS FUND for 2019/20

This fund is raised from our Xmas collections both from around the streets with our Santa sleigh and static collections at Sainsburys in Sydenham and Homebase in Bellingham – as It is collected locally we aim to also distribute it locally in the boroughs of Lewisham and Bromley

Last year Approx. £6k was donated to St Christopher’s Hospice and £6K was distributed via the Small Community Grants Fund  to various local organizations  including JusB, Nature’s Gym Lewisham, Magpie Dance group , Men in Sheds, Linking Lifes, in total  some 15 grants were made to various diverse groups last year .

Grants of between £250 and £500 are available.

The Ravensbourne Rotary Club  just require a  short, simple applications for between £250  to £500 .from small charities and organizations doing great work in the borough of Lewisham and Bromley  .

We do not want the organizers to spend a lot of time on the application, simply cut and paste a brief description of the general work you do and then write a small paragraph on what you would do with the grant – it does not have to be anything new, just whatever is your greatest need.

Application deadline  25th December 2019

Grant values: £250 to £500

Decision: Last week of January

Ravensbourne Rotary Club are organizing and coordinating the Bromley Area collections for the first time this year The money collected at this time of year goes to providing help and support to serving and ex-Service men and women and their dependents
