The Inca Trail

Thu, Feb 23rd 2006 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

Ian McBain took us on the Inca Trail in Peru. The pictures he showed us were amazing better than anything we imagined. This was a sponsored trip in aid of MacMillam Relief a very worthy cause. It was not an easy trip due to the high altitude but there was a determination to succeed from all involved. Unfortunately at the last gasp, when they arrived at Machu Picchu, after an initial glimpse of its splendour, the rains came on and they had to take a bus down the mountain. However, the photos he took of the treck to the top along the trail will leave a lasting impression with all who witnessed his presentation.
