Andrew Gerrard a long time friend and helper of the Guild, gave a very well constructed talk on the origins of the Guild. How it got it's building, how it developed over the years and what its plans are for the future. These future plans are very ambitious indeed. They involve almost a total reconstruction and reconfiguration of the theatre. Substantial grant funding has been allocated but a huge money raising campaign has to be undertaken. This will bring a well loved artistic facility up to 21 Century standards and be a boon to the whole of the district.
