This week’s meeting a quiz on bridges that was constructed by Theresa Douglas and presented in her absence by Percy Farren. The quiz was extremely varied with questions not only about identifying bridges and their locations but questions about songs, films and facts relating to bridges. Congratulations to James Goodbrand on gaining the lofty score of 25 and to Theresa for putting together the quiz that more than tested the old grey matter.
Finally, Peter McGavigan thanked Percy for the presentation and Theresa in absentia for putting together the quiz for an entertaining evening.
