Senior Public Speaking Competition

The annual public speaking event for the Island's secondary schools.
No news certainly was good news for students from Ballakermeen High School.
Chairman Chloe Shimmin led speaker Katie Banks and Nick Hawkes to victory in our Club's annual senior public speaking contest.
The subject of their entry was "No News Is Good News" and it definitely was good news for the team as they earned
Manor Ark refurbishment
A working party will be busy taking down some internal walls and removing an old bathroom in the building which was once the Police Station. It is now being turned into an Community Centre for Pulrose thanks to some funds from our Club and some hard work.details
