For many years, Rotary International in Britain and Ireland have been running a national Young Writers Competition where individual clubs across Britain organise local competitions to find a young writer to sponsor through first District, and then National finals. The Rotary Club of Lutterworth Wycliffe have been enthusiastic supporters of this competition, and every year, run a local competition open to all young people within defined age ranges to put forward to the District Finals.
This year's winner at club level are Poppy, Ella and Lucille from Swinford Junior School, and their entries were submitted to the district level competition. The photograph shows the winners being presented with their prizes from Rtn Phil Ashton with Club President Duncan Haworth in attendance. Many congratulations to this year's winners.
