The Rotary Club of Denbigh is this year supporting the Denbigh Carnival with some fundraising events including a Ball Drop on Vale Street on the morning of Carnival day, the 24th of June. This ball drop will consist of aprox. 1000 balls, where only one ball will win. Proceeds of this event will be shared equally between the Denbigh Carnival and the Denbigh Juniors Football Club. Members of the club, together with representatives of the Carnival committee have been selling tickets for this Ball Drop at the Morrison’s and Aldi stores at Denbigh, where so far a total of £804.71 has been raised, including some donations.

We look forward to the big day on the 24th June and we thank our President Mike Roberts for initiating this event.

Mae Clwb Rotari Dinbych eleni yn cefnogi Carnifal Dinbych gyda rhai digwyddiadau codi arian gan gynnwys "Ball Drop" ar Stryd y Dyffryn ar fore dydd y Carnifal, y 24ain o Fehefin. Bydd y gostyngiad pêl hwn yn cynnwys oddeutu 1000 o beli, lle bydd dim ond un bêl yn ennill. Bydd elw’r digwyddiad hwn yn cael ei rannu’n gyfartal rhwng Carnifal Dinbych a Chlwb Pêl-droed Iau Dinbych. Fe fuodd aelodau'r clwb, ynghyd â chynrychiolwyr pwyllgor y Carnifal yn gwerthu tocynnau ar gyfer y "Ball Drop" yma yn siopau Morrison’s ac Aldi yn Ninbych, lle mae cyfanswm o £804.71 wedi'i godi hyd yma, gan gynnwys rhai rhoddion.

Edrychwn ymlaen at y diwrnod mawr ar y 24ain o Fehefin a diolchwn i’n Llywydd Mike Roberts am feddwl am a gyrru'r digwyddiad yma ymlaen.
