GlassGiving is a little corner of the web created to sell craft glass lovingly created in the Scottish Highlands.

It aims to raise money for Charity causes, here in the United Kingdom, and around the globe, both through direct to customer sales and in partnership with other charities.

All proceeds from your web purchase go directly to The Rotary Foundation. This Charity awards grants to enable Rotarians to develop local sustainable projects for the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. All projects further Rotary ‘s aim to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace. To find out more about Rotary Foundation visit https://www.rotary.org/en/about-rotary/rotary-foundation

With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.

Caroline's Rotary Journey

"I was not even aware women could be in Rotary when I was told I was going to become a Rotarian by my husband and a very close friend in 2003.They had been asked to join and liked the cause but could not be bothered with weekly meals so sent me. I think they were also looking for some way to keep me occupied when I retired. It certainly worked! Second year in Rotary I was asked to become Chair of Foundation. I think Loch Ness have regretted it ever since as I am still banging on about the wonders of Foundation and fundraising for it.

I was Secretary of Loch Ness Rotary for several years and then President ten years ago. I am still a member.

I am also an Honorary Active Member of eClub of Innovation, previously known as eClub of East Anglia. In that Club I am involved in a fundraising recipe collection project and it is their resources that keep Glassgiving online.

I visit Goa regularly and while there have participated in Rotary activities including Rotary Leadership Institutions and National Immunisation Days."
