Litter Pick 2nd September 2023

On 2nd September, President Elizabeth, AG David Perkins, IPP Jon Street and and Alan Bull who is a past Rotarian and Friend of Westbury Rotary gathered at the Leigh Park Community Centre.

The aim was to assist the Town Council of Westbury in another of their Community Litter Picks.  The materiel for the litter pick was provided by Deputy Mayor Jane Russ and Gordon King gave a H & S brief.

There were quite a few of the local residents that turned out to clean up their area including a couple of families, prompted by their children - how delightfully refreshing!

We managed to to gather at least a dozen big sacks of refuse from the pavements and hedgerows.

All in all a very good mornings work, beats sitting at home watching Matt Tebbutt on Saturday Kitchen!
