Pants, Bras, Coins and Notes Collection

Our collections at Tesco on Friday 13th Oct gathered a total of 233 new pants and gently used bras for Smalls for All worth over £300 and the old UK and foreign currency donated has resulted in around £200 for charity.
Bras & Pants
Smalls for All is a Scottish charity that collects underwear for people in Africa and the UK who can’t afford or can’t get any. Because dignity matters. The charity sorts and gives the underwear to charitable organisations who are able to transport and distribute the underwear in UK and Africa.
Our donation point at Tesco on Friday 13th October 2023 is to support the gathering of underwear. What is required is only brand new pants and new or gently worn bras.

Pants must be new. They collect all sizes and clours but those that are needed most are
ladies size 8-14
children aged 3-15
men size XS-L.
Ladies’ pants in greatest demand are black – full brief, midi, mini or high leg (in the smaller sizes).
Bras
New or gently worn (laundered) bras of any size, including sports and nursing bras but not cropped-top style or bikini tops. (‘gently worn’ means bras in good condition that still have good wear left in them.)
Coins and Notes
We can convert any coin and note (current and old) from most countries into sterling for donation to charity. So dig into your drawers for the money you bring back from holiday and keep for the next one but forget to take or the coins are too small in value to make them worth weighing down your pockets or purses with. Drop them off. We can also make use of old UK coins and notes as well.

Record of the winners and money raised for East Dunbartonshire Foodbank from a Hamper Raffle in December 2022. 675 tickets sold. Additional donations means £800 going to the ED Foodbank.
