Home | The area covered by this district

District 1180 covers a wide area in two different countries; Mid & North Wales and in England, The Wirral and Merseyside, encompassing rural countryside and busy urban conurbations - from wild, mountain scenery to industrial ports.
There are 63 clubs within the District, and all will welcome visiting Rotarians, whether they be on holiday or business.
In addition to this difference in geography, the District also has two distinct languages. In some clubs, Welsh is spoken extensively by members, though this should not deter the non-Welsh speaker from visiting! The District is divided into 5 areas, the clubs in each area being assigned an Assistant Governor. Details about these clubs can be found from the link bar, left.
