District 1140 brings together the 46 Rotary Clubs in six Greater London Boroughs and neighboring parts of Surrey and Hampshire to develop fellowship and service opportunities.

Congratulations to Peter O'Keefe, of the Rotary Club of Guildford District, who has been elected as District Governor Nominee 2014/15. In 2015 he will become the first District Governor of District 1145, created by combining Districts 1140 and 1250. |

2013 Young Chef Competition, District 1140 Final.

On Saturday, 16th February 2013 the District Young Chef Final was held at "The Oasis Academy" in Old Coulsdon. District Governor Mike is seen here with the competition winner, Anushka Patel, who was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Fleet.

Bristol, October 2012 - another successful Rotary District 1140 Conference!
Sunday morning - District Governor, Mike Thorn is on stage to thank Baroness Shreela Flather who is a champion against racism and for human rights, in particular those of women in developing nations. Sergeant at Arms, Neil also enjoyed one of the lighter moments after her presentation!
