Penpont Win Thornhill Rotary Primary School Quiz 2010

For the third year in succession, a team of young people from Penpont Primary School recently won Thornhill and District Rotary Club's Primary School Quiz. The Penpont team triumphed over teams from Duncow, Moniaive, Closeburn, Wallace Hall and Sanquhar Primaries. President Ian Lewis of the Thornhill club said 'Well done to the Penpont team. I am certainly glad that I didn't have to answer some of the questions. I wish the team every success in the up-and-coming Dumfries & Galloway final.'
