The inaugural ceremony of Durham 6th Form Interact club was held at 11.30am on Friday 14th May 2010 at the Riverdale Business Centre (which is the Business School of Durham 6th Form Centre). This important and enjoyable occasion was attended by the Deputy Mayor Councillor Mamie Simmons, Rtn. Tony Fairley, District Governor of Rotary District 1030, and other District Officers, the Head Teacher Mr. M. Brett, members of staff and school governors, President David Grey and memKbers of the sponsoring Rotary Club of Durham, President Grant Hollis and members of the newly formed Interact Club.
