Paul Rogers, BSc PhD Lond., DIC ARCS, MIBiol, Professor of Peace Studies at Bradford University will be addressing D1270 Rotarians at the annual conference in September.

Professor, Paul Rogers has worked in the field of international security, arms control and political violence for over 30 years.

At Bradford University he continues to focus on trends in international conflict, developing an analysis of the linkages between socio-economic divisions, environmental constraints and international insecurity.

Much of his work since the 9/11 attacks has focused on western military responses to political violence and the numerous problems that have arisen through the pursuit of the war on terror. His work has been translated into many languages including Chinese, Japanese, Farsi, Turkish, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. Since 2001 he has written a weekly analysis on international security issues for the Open Democracy web journal that is reproduced by over forty other websites across the world.
