The Rotary Club of Lincoln continues its support for Lincoln primary schools football.

Pictured are the Lincoln Boys Representative Team, drawn from 12 different primary schools across the city and surrounding area, proudly displaying their miniature trophies before playing their last game of the season.

This is the second year that the Rotary Club has supported the representative team with trophies for each member of the squad and a financial contribution towards running costs.  The organisation of both the primary schools league and the representative team is down to the dedication of three primary school teachers Dan Callaghan, Joe Dobson and Rob Cook.  They receive no official funding.

Inspired by their trophies, and keen to impress three Rotarian spectators, the boys beat visiting team Gainsborough 6 - 0 in their best team performance of the season, with Daniel Hobson from Manor Lees School scoring four of the goals.
