Keynote speech: Dr Scilla Elworthy, founder of the Oxford Research Group, now Director of Peace Direct.
Speakers include
- Dr Alan Billings, a regular contributor to the BBC Radio 4 Thought for the Day programme, and formerly Director of Ethics and Religion at Lancaster University who will speak on Terrorism and what the man in the street can do.
- Rotarian Jean Best will speak on Peacejam, a schools peace programme.
- Professor Jim Whitman Joint Director of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Department at Bradford University and also the Rotary Peace Centre will speak of what they are looking for in students for courses.
- A number of past and present Rotary Peace Fellows will also talk.
