Home | Group Study Exchange 2010-11 | We said Goodbye For Now.....Adeus por agora to our friends from Brazil
Well it had to happen, the time came to say goodbye to our friends from Brazil. How can five young people impact on us, our lives, so quickly. But they did. It was a two way thing too. They did GCE like the Brazilian Football team do football, with a smile, with warmth, sincerely. They matched our team that earlier went to Brazil perfectly. What a great bunch of young ambassadors they were. At the farewell we had tears, from all around the room. Each team member had their little farewell message delivered with sincerity. But there was a surprise for us all, their farewells were rounded off with a surprise presentation of special moments from their time with us. That was all yesterday, several times today I have been asked 'can you put it on the website'? You know what I can because the team put it on YouTube. Just click below to watch it. You know what, it won't seem so bad when Brazil beat us in the World Cup, the youngsters, both teams, left us feeling that way about them.
